Data is a new, very strong currency in the digital world. Doesn’t matter if you take a look at Internet of Things, eHealth or Fintech. Data creates value worldwide. On September 24th, more than 350+ data scientists from Israel, Germany and the USA, IoT experts, Fintech startups andeHealth influencers met at DataNatives Tel Aviv to discuss how data impacts the business world but also our everyday life. Rise Tel Aviv, the fintech accelerator of Barclays Bank, hosted DataNatives at their space in the heart of Tel Aviv at Mindspace, close to Rothschild where many successful startups and accelerators have their Israeli HQ.
As community partner of DataNatives, IoT-EPI was in Tel Aviv to introduce the new open calls, the European Platforms Initiative is offering for startups, SME or research projects in IoT.
What was DataNatives all about?
- On one day, 30 industry experts in data science, AI, machine learning and IoT from companies such as MapR, Google Cloud Platform, IBM Watson, IronSource, Daimler, NHS UK, Startupbootcamp, QlikView came together to “talk data”.
- Highlights proved to be the panel on “How to build a data driven organization” and the Fireside Chat on “Big Data and Connected Cars”
- Four startups with solutions in Machine Learning, AI, big data and IoT battled in the afternoon. Gift wizard, the winning startup was selected to attend Startupbootcamp IoT and Data Tech Accelerator for selection days from 2-4 November in Barcelona - the top accelerator in Europe and number 3 in the world!
